1. Send only relevant communications
If there's one way to irritate people it's to send them messages and offers that aren't relevant to them. Relevant messages train your contacts to open them and prioritize responses.
Note: I'm not saying that you should never send 'touching base' types of communications, but look at everything through the lens of 'would this message be important to me and one that I would want to receive".
2. Don't spam
Resist the urge to just spam everyone in your account. You'll train your customers and patients to ignore messages that are coming from you and your response rates will drop. In some cases they may actually block you which will effectively cut off your access to them permanently.
3. Don't click-bait
Don't try and bait your contacts by sending fake or insincere offers that your customers can't take advantage of or accept. For example; don't send an offer with 1 acceptance to 100 people. They'll see immediately that you're messages are simply click-bait and will tune you out.
